The devices included in Le Continu allow you to combine up to 10 inverters for a storage and management capacity of up to 120,000W.

The inverter included in this system ensures that the connection is made between the two electrical boxes and that the backup system takes over in the event of a power outage.

The EG4 hybrid inverter/charger is a 3-in-1 accessory that allows you to:

- Transform the battery current into 120V/240V.
- Recharge the system batteries using a generator in case of prolonged cloudy weather.
- Connect the solar system to a generator and transform the current if more power is needed.

The kit includes the cables and connectors needed to connect an EG4 18kW All-in-One Hybrid Inverter to an EG4 51.2V 280Ah WallMount lithium battery for wall mounting. An EG4 280Ah conduit box is also included for neat and secure cable installation between devices.

Solar panels not included:

This backup system does not include solar panels for recharging.

Connection to an auxiliary power source:

The kit includes an inverter that can also act as a charger, when paired with an auxiliary power source such as a generator or the electrical grid.

Connection plan included:

All our emergency (backup) kits come with a connection plan.

However, since your appliances will be connected to the Hydro-Québec or your municipality's network, a certified electrician will have to make the connection.

We can take care of the installation, additional fees apply.

Estimated autonomy*: 98.13H

The autonomy was calculated based on the use of a 0.5HP sump pump for 1 hour/day (continuously or not), a 500W/day refrigerator and the simultaneous operation of 5 8W LED bulbs for 24 hours/day. All devices consume 116.87WH. The autonomy of the systems was calculated with a margin of 20%. The autonomy varies depending on the reserve capacity of the battery and the connected devices that are in operation.

Additionally, the power of the inverter doesn't affect your system's battery life, but rather its ability to run multiple devices simultaneously. The higher its power, the more devices it can run simultaneously.
